Our Story
The Situational Coach was born out of real-world experience and a shared mission.
Across decades of experience spanning diverse industries and organisations of all sizes, we spotted a glaring gap: talented professionals thrust into management positions without the tools to succeed. First-time managers and team leaders consistently faced the same baptism by fire—promoted for excellence, then left to navigate management challenges without proper support. We're here to change that story.

In the fast-paced world of automotive manufacturing, we conducted a series of development centres which revealed a startling truth: brilliant minds were struggling to bridge the gap between classroom theory and deployment to their known environment. Incorporating psychometric assessments and tests of fluid intelligence, we discovered that even talented professionals struggled to translate abstract concepts into daily action—a critical insight that transformed our approach to management development.

This finding became the catalyst for something different. We set out to design a gamified, situational learning experience that would enable new managers to build meaningful, applied leadership skills. Over time, the solution evolved into a dynamic, tech-enabled platform offering bite-sized, real-world learning scenarios supported by human-led coaching conversations.
Our aim is to drive sustained behavioural change and embed lasting management capabilities.
